Countering Racial Bias in Computer Graphics Research: Four Years Later
DescriptionThis BOF is for attendees interested in discussing issues of racial bias embedded in computer graphics research. It is a follow-on from similarly titled BOFs at SIGGRAPH 2021, 2022, and 2024.
We will celebrate progress over the last four years, discuss setbacks, and brainstorm paths forward. This will be a friendly, collaborative space for mutual, authentic engagement across difference. Attendees can be at any stage, including learning about, taking steps toward, or enacting change in computer graphics research.
