Presentation
Computer Graphics History Institute
DescriptionThe Computer Graphics History Institute is building a knowledgebase of computer graphics history. The knowledgebase will exist virtually; it will be built using ontologies, living taxonomies, and RDF triple stores. Management of the knowledgebase will be performed almost exclusively through XR, with interface design based on human cognitive abilities.
The purposes of the Institute are reference and research. With a general collection of history, it will be a coordinated place for learning about the history of CG. It will provide research frameworks for digital representations of history, and managing knowledge with XR using an API to the human cognitive system.
