DescriptionIn Pixar's Elio, the Universal Users Manual is a sentient alien book “character” created as a unique collaboration between characters and FX, consisting of a stack of pages animated along rigged shaped paths and then processed in Houdini to create the look of individual pages with particle and volume FX.
