DescriptionWe are looking for a visionary graphics leader to define and drive the future of Huawei’s OS-level and platform-level graphics architecture. This role focuses on breakthroughs in real-time rendering, graphics engines, spatial computing, and neural graphics technologies, ensuring Huawei’s leadership in immersive user experiences.
You will lead research and architecture design across rendering pipelines, GPU driver stacks, high-performance graphics frameworks, and advanced techniques such as NeRF and real-time ray tracing, building next-generation graphics capabilities that empower HarmonyOS NEXT and Huawei’s ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
1.Anticipate and define global trends in computer graphics; set the technical vision, strategic roadmap, and global R&D layout.
2.Lead architecture design and drive innovation in core CG technologies, achieving breakthroughs in rendering, engine frameworks, and high-value differentiators.
3.Research next-generation graphics technologies (e.g., neural rendering, real-time ray tracing, hybrid pipelines) and provide input for internal/external technical strategy and investments.
4.Build global influence through active engagement with the academic and industrial CG community; form long-term, win–win strategic partnerships.

Description of Position:
PhD; Full-Time; Desired Level of Education: Master’s degree
Other Skills or Experience:
1. 10+ years of experience in the computer graphics domain, with deep expertise in rendering, graphics engines, spatial computing, or related areas. PhD in Computer Graphics is an asset.
2. Proven record of industry or academic impact in CG, with successful commercialization of large-scale products or widely recognized research.
3. Strong ability to lead technical strategy and guide cross-functional engineering teams to deliver best-in-class user experiences.
4. Strong connection with CG community.
5. Excellent foresight in technology evolution and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to influence the global CG ecosystem.
