DescriptionWe are seeking a Research Engineer to lead the architecture and evolution of next-generation gallery systems on HarmonyOS. This role focuses on building a high-performance, intelligent media platform that supports advanced features such as HDR rendering, dynamic photos, and ultra-texture compression, while enabling seamless integration with HarmonyOS graphics and multimedia stack.
As media intelligence evolves, traditional gallery systems are no longer sufficient. You will help redefine media understanding and user experience through system-level innovation.
Responsibilities:
1. Drive end-to-end architecture design for gallery applications, ensuring clean layering, modularization, and consistent software quality.
2. Lead technical planning and system optimization across performance, power, and maintainability dimensions.
3. Implement advanced photo and video features (e.g., HDR, dynamic photos, compression), and align closely with OS-level frameworks and display pipelines.
4. Translate intelligent media requirements into system design and deliver intelligent experiences that go beyond traditional static galleries.

Description of Position:
PhD; Full-Time; Desired Level of Education: Master’s degree
Other Skills or Experience:
1. Proven experience in large-scale internet or consumer application architecture design and development.
2. Deep understanding of complex application architecture (e.g., componentization, dynamic modules).
3. Strong skills in requirement analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and leading development iterations.
4. Experience in multimedia software (e.g., image/video pipeline, codecs, rendering) is a strong asset.
5. Practical experience with intelligent media systems (e.g., AI-enhanced galleries, multimodal AIGC, smart video editing) is preferred.
