MiSo: A DSL for robust and efficient MINIMIZE and SOLVE problems

DescriptionMany problems in graphics can be formulated as a non-linearly constrained global minimization (MINIMIZE), or solution of a system of non-linear constraints (SOLVE). We introduce MiSo, a domain-specific language and compiler for generating efficient code for low-dimensional MINIMIZE and SOLVE problems, using interval methods to guarantee conservative results.
