HexHex: Highspeed Extraction of Hexahedral Meshes

DescriptionWe present HexHex, which extracts a hexahedral mesh from a locally injective integer-grid map. Key contributions include a conservative rasterization technique and a novel mesh data structure called propeller. Our algorithm is significantly faster and uses less memory than the previous state-of-the-art method, especially for large hex-to-tet ratios.
