Computational Modeling of Gothic Microarchitecture
DescriptionGothic microarchitecture—a prevalent feature of late medieval art—comprises sculptural works that replicate monumental Gothic forms, though its original construction techniques remain historically undocumented. Leveraging insights from 15th-century Basel goldsmith drawings, we present an interactive framework for reconstructing these intricate designs from 2D projections into accurate 3D forms.
