Augmented Vertex Block Descent
DescriptionWe extend the Vertex Block Descent method for fast and unconditionally stable physics-based simulation using an Augmented Lagrangian formulation to enable simulating hard constraints with infinite stiffness and systems with high stiffness ratios. This allows simulating complex contact scenarios involving rigid bodies with stacking and friction, and articulated joint constraints.
