11. Simulating the Mechanics of Ant Swarm Aggregations
DescriptionAnts exhibit unique abilities to self-assemble into animate, living structures, which display both fluid and solid-like proprieties. We present an interactive constraints-based approach for simulating the collective dynamics of ant swarms in various 3D settings. Our method closely imitates real-world behaviors with compelling physical realism.
