Biography
Quirin Meyer is professor for computer graphics at Coburg University of Applied Sciences and Arts, Germany. He obtained his PhD in Computer Graphics from Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg in 2012 under the supervision of Marc Stamminger. His research interests include real-time computer graphics, geometry processing, data compression, and parallel programming. Prior to his return to academia in 2017, he applied his interests in industry for Microsoft, Elektrobit Automotive, Siemens, and Siemens Healthineers. In Coburg, Quirin designs and teaches seminars, tutorials, classes, and hands-on sessions for groups ranging from five to more than a hundred students.
