Presenter

Mike Bailey is a professor in Computer Science at Oregon State University. His loves all-things-computer-graphics, but especially loves shader-based graphics, scientific visualization, and GPU computing. He also gets a kick out of sharing the joy of CG with others. He has extensive experience teaching computer graphics topics in his college classes (over 13,000 students so far), in professional short courses (102, 50 of them at SIGGRAPH conferences), and in K-12 outreach programs. Mike has won multiple teaching awards, including the 2024 SIGGRAPH Distinguished Educator Award.
