Dan Bailey is a Senior Staff Software Engineer at ILM Vancouver where he leads the FX/Crowds Engineering team. He received a Masters in Computer Science from the University of Bristol and has worked in the VFX Industry for almost 20 years. Dan is a member of the OpenVDB Technical Steering Committee, has been an active contributor to the project for more than 10 years and received a SciTech Technical Achievement Award for continued evolution of OpenVDB in 2024.
