Soraia Raupp Musse
Biography
Soraia Raupp Musse is a professor and researcher in the Graduate Program in Computer Science (PPGCC) at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS). She completed her Ph.D. in 2000 at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland, under the supervision of Prof. Daniel Thalmann, focusing on crowd simulation and virtual humans. From July 2015 to July 2016, she spent a sabbatical year at the University of Pennsylvania (USA) working with Prof. Norman Badler, primarily on crowd simulation. Her research interests include virtual human simulation, visual perception, face analysis, and computer animation.
