Catherine Luo is a Characters Shade/Groom Technical Director at Pixar Animation Studios. Having graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a BFA in Electronic Time-Based Media in 2019, she has been working within the animation industry since. She maintains a well-rounded practice between her artistic roots and technical interests, and looks forward to projects that explore how the process of shading ties strongly to the process and language of art and cinematography.
