Biography
Kemeng Huang is a final-year PhD candidate in Computer Science at The University of Hong Kong, advised by Prof. Taku Komura. His research focuses on physical simulation and high-performance computing, with the goal of enabling real-time, physically accurate virtual environments and helping AI better understand the physical world.

He leads development of Libuipc, an open-source project with Prof. Minchen Li at Carnegie Mellon University. Libuipc provides a user-friendly, high-performance, differentiable GPU implementation of the Incremental Potential Contact method, supporting applications that require robust, accurate, and differentiable simulation across a wide range of scenarios.
