Omer Shapira
Biography
Omer Shapira is an Engineer, Researcher and Artist, currently working at Meta Reality Labs.
Omer has made contributions to HCI and Computer Graphics in the fields of Virtual Reality, Computer Vision, Haptics and Robotics.
Previously, Omer was at NVIDIA Research, led the XR team at NVIDIA Omniverse, was Director of VR at Fake Love (A New York Times Company), Software Engineer at Framestore, and a Director at Channel 10 (Israel), and presented work at Tribeca, Sundance, The Barbican Gallery and others.
Omer studied Mathematics and Linguistics at Tel Aviv University and HCI at New York University.
