Biography
Yoonji Lee is a PhD student in Industrial Design at KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology). With a background as an artist and product designer, her research investigates how materiality and gamification can shape people's perceptions of the world. Passionate about pushing the boundaries of design, she explores gamified interactions using various materials across craft, industrial design, exhibitions, and spatial installations. Known for her adventurous approach, Yoonji has showcased her work in numerous international exhibitions and art fairs. Her research has been featured in leading Design and Human-Computer Interaction venues, including CHI, DIS, and TEI.
