Ping-Hsuan Han

Biography
Ping-Hsuan, Han was born in 1988. Currently works as an Associate Professor in the Department of Interaction Design at the National Taipei University of Technology (NTUT). He received his Ph.D. at the Graduate Institute of Networking and Multimedia at National Taiwan University, M.D. from the Master's Program in Toy and Game Design, and B.D. from the Department of Digital Technology Design, both at National Taipei University of Education. His research interests include Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Virtual Reality (VR), Mixed Reality(MR), and Multisensory Technology, and he also focuses on Creativity in Engineering Education and immersive storytelling. His interactive works are selected and shown in ACM SIGGRAPH and SIGGRAPH ASIA.
Additionally, he has received several awards, such as ACM UIST 2016 Best Demo Award, ACM SIGGRAPH2017 Laval Virtual Award, Laval Virtual 2018 3D Games and Entertainment Award, ACM SIGGRAPH Asia 2018 Best VR/AR Technology 3rd Award, ACM SIGGRAPH Asia 2021 Best Online Demo Award, ACM SIGGRAPH 2022 Immersive Pavilion Top Selection Award, ACM SIGGRAPH 2023 Best-in-Show Award, ACM SIGGRAPH Asia 2024 XR Best Demo in Show Award.
