Yağız Aksoy

Biography
Yağız Aksoy leads the Computational Photography Lab at Simon Fraser University as an Assistant Professor in the School of Computing Science. He obtained his Ph.D. degree from the Computer Science Department at ETH Zurich in 2019 after a year at MIT CSAIL as a visiting student and 3.5 years at Disney Research as a research assistant. His independent research is supported by NSERC and CFI as well as research gifts from Adobe and Meta Reality Labs. He has served as a Program Committee Member for SIGGRAPH 2021 & 2025 and for ICCV 2023.
