Falai Chen is a professor at the mathematical school, University of Science and Technology of China(USTC). He got his Bs, Ms and Ph.D dgrees in 1987,1989,2004 all from USTC. His research intersts include Computer Aided Geometric Design and Geometric Modeling, specifically surface repesentations and operations, locally refinable splines, iso-geometric analysis, etc.
