Marta Syrko is an artist born in Lviv, Ukraine. She explores the intersection between art history, social issues, and the human body. Her use of portrait photography acts as an exploration of contemporary concerns and questions surrounding identity, representation, and the body. By investigating the human body in its imperfection, she is challenging conventional notions of beauty and perfection, highlighting the diversity and complexity of human experience. Her work is an inspiration to think about representation of medical images and acceptance about our health condition. In recent years Marta has exhibited her work in Paris, London, Arles, and Linz.
