Edu Meneses
Biography
Edu Meneses is a composer, electronic artist, music technologist, digital luthier, and performer.
With a Ph.D. in music technology at McGill University (IDMIL and CIRMMT), Edu is currently the Société des Arts Technologiques (SAT) research director. He works on research-creation projects involving immersion in digital arts, embedded systems for digital musical instruments, and sound spatialization.
Some of his projects include Puara, the GuitarAMI, the T-Stick, Probatio, Latency/communication in digital musical instruments, and Le Vivier Mobile. These projects explored gestural control of sound systems, DSP, mapping (including sound spatialization), instrument/installation design, and music composition/performance.
