Presenter

Vincent Maurer, born in 1999 in Bamberg, has been animating ever since he received his first camera as a child. After completing his high school education, he worked in post-production for films, series, and advertising in Nuremberg. He studied Technical Directing at the Animationsinstitut of Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg from 2019 to 2025. During his studies, he specialized in lighting, compositing, and virtual production, and gained experience working with leading animation studios in Canada. His research project on capturing and reproducing lens flares using motion control and machine learning was presented at SIGGRAPH Asia 2024.
