Wolfgang Strauss, (1951) is an architect and artist. As a professor for Interactive Media Design he has taught at the Berlin University of the Arts (UdK), and at the Academy of Media Arts (KHM) in Cologne. In 1987, he co-founded ART+COM in Berlin. Since 1997 he has been directing conceptual and technical research and development at the MARS Lab (Media Art Research Studies) at the Fraunhofer Institute. Together with his partner Monika Fleischmann, his work has been exhibited internationally. Venues include the Tate Modern, Centre Georges Pompidou, PS1, Pratt Manhattan Gallery, and ZKM Karlsruhe.
