Biography
Rochele Gloor is a designer, researcher, and emergent technologies artist from Brazil living in New York. She has a background in sustainability entrepreneurship and transitioned her practice to digital art embracing 3D animation applications and XR. She is an advisory member of generative AI at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and at the School of Visual Arts, where she works as Assistant Director for Innovation Technologies in the MFA Computer Arts Program. Her research is centered on sound and aesthetics for wellness, AI, experiments with multi-person virtual co-embodiment and real time motion capture.
