Darin Grant has over 25 years of experience in Animation and VFX, currently serving as SVP, Global Technology at Netflix Animation Studios. He leads technological strategy and innovation, following Netflix’s acquisition of Animal Logic in 2022. Darin has held key technology roles at Digital Domain, DreamWorks Animation, and Method VFX, and has consulted on strategy and M&A for industry software providers, including Autodesk’s acquisition of Solid Angle (Arnold). An active industry volunteer, Darin is co-chair of the Scientific and Technical Academy Awards Committee, chair-elect of ACM SIGGRAPH, and a Governing Board member of the Academy Software Foundation.
