Tobias Eckerlin
Biography
Tobias Eckerlin was born in Schwetzingen, Germany, in 1993. In 2012, he began studying communication
design at Mannheim University of Applied Sciences, which he completed in 2018 with a Master of Arts.
During this time, his specialization shifted from photography to real film and CGI. During his studies, he
started freelancing and worked as a CGI artist in a small 3D agency. He also worked as a lecturer for
photography and film. At the end of 2021, he began studying directing for animation at
Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg.
