Lilli-Luisa Heckmann was born 1997 in Mannheim. From 2017-2021 she studied Communication Design at Hochschule Mannheim. During her studies, she worked as a video-assistant for two years. Besides that she made an internship at an agency for 3D-visualization, where she animated among other things contributions for german TV channels like ARD and SWR. Immediately after completing her bachelor's degree, she began studying at Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg and attended the Lucerne Master Academy of Animation in Switzerland, where she was taught by mentors from DreamWorks, Pixar and Weta FX. In 2024 she successfully graduated in character animation and has been working at SERU Animation in Ludwigsburg since the beginning of 2025.
