Stephen Winters is the Head of IT at Cinesite Montreal, bringing with him over 15 years of experience within the visual effects and feature animation technology arena. His journey began with a Master of Fine Arts degree specializing in VFX and his career has been focused on innovation and management to facilitate the art of our industry.
Stephen attributes much of his success to the experience provided by his many years spent at Sony Pictures Imageworks and Cinesite. Opportunities to meet with other collaborative and inspiring members of our community has also been an invaluable motivator for Stephen. With Siggraph being the most notable venue for technology learning and networking, he has attended since 2008.
Stephen's dedication to pushing the boundaries of technology in visual effects is evident in his role at Cinesite Montreal, where he strives to keep the studio at the forefront of new innovative methods within our industry. With a keen eye on the future and a deep-rooted appreciation for the history of VFX and Feature Animation, Stephen Winters continues to make significant contributions to the ever-evolving landscape of it’s technology.
