Biography
Ryan Hardesty Lewis, a machine learning researcher, holds a BS from UT Austin, a dual MS from Cornell Tech and the Technion, and is currently pursuing a PhD at MIT. His work lies in leveraging artificial intelligence for the development of large-scale replicas of the world (digital twins). He has previously performed research with the Urban Information Lab, under the guidance of Dr. Junfeng Jiao, and the Urban Tech Hub, under Dr. Anthony Townsend. With funding from the City of Austin, NSF, Microsoft, MITRE Corp, Dell Corp, and others, Ryan has developed systems to enhance urban technologies and explored the ethical dimensions of AI.
