Kexin Nie is a UI/UX interactive designer and researcher based in Sydney and Beijing, with a Master of Design (Strategic Design) (Design Innovation) from the University of Sydney. Her practice centers on the intersection of AI, XR, and intangible cultural heritage (ICH). Her work blends speculative design, embodied interaction, and sustainable design thinking to address both technological innovation and cultural continuity. Her research has been recognized by leading venues such as ACM SIGGRAPH Asia (awarded), ACM CHI, ACM C&C, Chinese CHI, IEEE ISMAR, and EMNLP, contributing to the global discourse on human-centered AI, immersive heritage preservation, and co-creative systems.
