Gaeun Lee is a computer science and design undergraduate at the University of Illinois Chicago with a passion for designing interactive systems that solve real-world problems. Starting off her academic journey in arts, she unexpectedly fell in love with computing; drawn to its creative potential and impact. Her work spans virtual reality, education, and mental health, and she is currently interning at KAIST to deepen her research in HCI. Gaeun hopes to pursue a PhD and become an HCI researcher, building technologies that are not only functional but emotionally resonant, turning complex challenges into thoughtful, human-centered experiences.
