Scotty Hardwig is a movement artist, performer, and choreographer exploring the intersection of the moving body and sensory media. He has performed with AXIS Dance Company and worked with choreographers including Marc Brew, Johannes Wieland, and Joe Goode. His choreographic work, presented internationally, includes commissions for the National Ballet of Ecuador, LEVYdance, and La Revuelta Laboratorio Escénico. His research, supported by ICAT, investigates the fusion of physical and digital embodiment through motion capture, immersive sound, and virtual reality. Recent projects include Body, Full of Time and Time Garden, exploring the chimeric relationship between digital and physical selves.
