Presenter

Zhiyu is an award-winning filmmaker, researcher, and designer. She is a recent graduate of the Master’s program in Design Engineering, jointly offered by Brown University and the Rhode Island School of Design. Her work lies at the intersection of storytelling, AI, and visual design, with a focus on creating emotionally coherent and stylistically rich narrative experiences. She has previously worked as a UX designer and filmmaker, and her research explores how emerging technologies can support character-driven storytelling across digital media.
