Whitney Schmerber, Art Production Supervisor at ShadowMachine, has more than two decades of experience in arts management at opera companies from Alaska to Washington DC and stop motion studios in the Pacific Northwest. Her passion is in finding workflows and championing a workplace culture where every team member feels valued, respected and important to the shared goals of the company. Honesty, openness, transparency, and empathy are core values in Whitney’s management style, bringing the workplace back to an employee-centric culture where vulnerability is welcome, space is available for all team members’ input and conflicts are resolved with constructive, honest conversation.
