Keigo Matsumoto

Biography
Keigo Matsumoto is an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Systems and Information Engineering, University of Tsukuba. He graduated from the Department of Mechano-Informatics, Faculty of Engineering, the University of Tokyo in 2016. He completed his graduate studies at the Graduate School of Information Science and Technology, the University of Tokyo, receiving a Ph.D. in Information Science and Technology in 2021. He was a research associate at the same graduate school from 2021 to 2025. His research focuses on spatial and temporal perception manipulation and sensory presentation techniques tailored to individual perceptual characteristics. He has received numerous awards, including the Excellence Award in the Entertainment Division of the 20th Japan Media Arts Festival, an Honorable Mention at IEEE VR 2024, an Honorable Mention at CHI 2025, and the 21st and 25th Paper Awards from the Virtual Reality Society of Japan.
