Biography
Han-Wei is a Program Director at the U.S. National Science Foundation and a Full Professor at The Ohio State University. He is Editor-in-Chief of IEEE Transactions on Visualization and Computer Graphics, an IEEE Visualization Academy inductee, and the 2024 IEEE VGTC Technical Achievement Award recipient. He leads the GRAVITY research group, focusing on visualization, machine learning, and high-performance computing. Previously, he worked at NASA Ames. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Utah, an M.S. from Stony Brook University, and a B.S. from National Taiwan University.
