SUMMARY:Plant.play()
DESCRIPTION:Yoonji Lee and Chang Hee Lee (Korea Advanced Institute of Scie
 nce and Technology (KAIST)) and Ali Asadipour (Royal College of Art)\n\nPl
 ant.play() reimagines the relationship between plants, humans, and digital
  spaces through an interactive installation where a living plant becomes t
 he central player in a pet simulation game. Environmental sensors and bioe
 lectrical signals translate the plant’s natural processes into caregiving
 decisions, shaping pets’ growth, personality, and evolution—leading to six
 ty possible appearances and eight personality types. Displays highlight th
 e plant’s decision-making journey, emphasizing its role as an active agent
 . By blending plants, technology, and play, Plant.play() explores posthuma
 nist ideas and invites audiences to reflect on the connections between liv
 ing beings, their environments, and the roles plants can play in our inter
 connected world.\n\nInterest Area: Arts & Design, Gaming & Interactive, Ne
